I loved this book. I bought it because I wanted to give sci-fi a try and figured a tween book would be a good intro. It' excellent! The descriptions of the characters make you feel as if you are there. The action makes you not want to put it down. When I got to the end I found myself so disappointed it was over. I plan to buy it for all my tween nieces, nephews and friends once it comes out in print. I can't wait for the next one!Product details

One of the best books I have ever read. Exciting, suspenseful, a great book that everyone should read. It is a very well writen book that deserves 5 stars.
Why anyone who writes so well would stoop to is beyond me.
It is keeping interested. She has created some great characters.
I read the book over the weekend. It has a great storyline and characters. It's fast paced with lots of action, right from the beginning. I can't wait to see what happens to Alex and Katie in the second book. Its a great book for both adults and kids!
