I decided it is time to switch jobs so I got a few "interview" books to get myself ready. The main thesis of this book is that interviewers try to break down a person into traits so they compare different candidates to each other. "Interview mastery" has a list of these traits and tells you how fit your presentation into these traits.This is a fairly short, pretty high level book. I thought it did a good job discussing the traits that employees look for and how to answer some of the questions you might be asked but it does not cover all aspects of the interviewing. I thought this book was useful but not the best of the book on interviewing I have read. If you are looking for a book that covers other aspects of interviewing consider "Job Hunting Ninja" by Frank McClain.

I really like this book. Covers all of items needed to have a great interview. My favorite section is on the psychology of the interview -- it really helps you understand the perspective of the one performing the interview. If you have a big interview coming up, this book will get you up to speed in no time.
